Hi. I’m Kat. I am chronically ill and I love cats. Handy that I’m named after them!
I have chronic fatigue syndrome/myalgic encephalomyelitis and POTS syndrome and over the years I’ve learnt and thought a lot about disability. I feel like disability is a topic that is very often ignored by the majority of the world, even within leftist, activist communities who claim to be against ableism. I would really like to foreground my experiences of disability, ableism, and some of the theory and thoughts I’ve learnt in the process of being sick.
But I’m not just disabled, so chances are I might write about something else completely random. I guess we will see!
